Chemicals are essential to everyday life whether to power hydrogen electrolysis; charge and manufacture an electric car; produce food or protect from viruses and fungi. The EU’s Green Deal and its related legislative proposals will trigger a revolution in how chemicals are used in the EU. Industry supports a sustainable approach and a safe use of its products, investing substantially in innovation and R&D.
Our high-level panel of policy and industry representatives discussed whether the EU political agenda on chemicals match the industry one, especially when it comes to timing.
