Pascal is a founder of EU Focus Group. He spent 22 years in a Brussels-based consultancy building and leading the Portfolio on Pesticides & Biocides, Fertilisers, Food & Feed, Chemicals & classification and Priority substances.

Pascal developed an in-depth expertise of EU policies where science is being challenged by societal & political developments. He substantially contributed to the drafting of various key Regulations while providing innovative interpretations of existing regulatory principles such as negligible exposure or sustainable use. Pascal is an expert of the Comitology processes having developed with the authorities both in Brussels and in the Member States capitals, a constructive dialogue based on trust & mutual respect.

Pascal taste for Asia led him to previously work as a lawyer in the most prestigious Bangkok-based law firm and as Editor of a website on EU-Asia relations for the European Institute for Asian Studies.

Pascal Michaux holds a Masters degree in Law from the Louvain Catholic University (Belgium) and a M.A. in Intercultural Management from the ICHEC Brussels Business & Management School. He is fluent in French, English, Italian and has conversational Dutch and passive knowledge of Spanish.

Pavel has over 15 years of experience in EU regulation and advocacy. Throughout his career, reinforced by an MBA degree at INSEAD, Pavel advised clients from Europe and Asia on environmental, health and tech legislations. In addition to leading client work at EU Focus Group, he develops relations with business schools and other learning organisations.

With a triangular educational background in politics, business, and law, Pavel provides a valuable analytical breadth to the interlinkages between EU policies, companies’ immediate business impacts and their short- and long-term corporate strategies.

Pavel advises clients in negotiations with the EU and Member States’ competent authorities during complex legislative and regulatory reviews, the clients coming from a wide range of geographies such as France, Germany, India but also Japan. He guides them through best possible compromise solutions while defending and upgrading clients’ reputation at all levels of EU decision-making process.

Pavel holds an INSEAD MBA, a College of Europe Masters’ degree in Political and Administrative Studies and a MGIMO University degree in European Law. He is fluent in English, French, German, Russian and has a good working command of Latvian.

Cecilia has over seventeen years of experience in international, EU and UK public and regulatory affairs. She has a well-developed international network that includes senior policy-makers, government officials, regulators, standard-setters, investors, firms and other key international/EU/UK organisations.

Prior to joining the EU Focus Group, she was the Chief Executive of the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE), representing 36 actuarial member associations in 35 European countries. As the AAE CEO, she provided input on legislation to the various organisations of the European Union (with a focus on pensions/insurance/sustainable finance) and also spoke at high-level conferences and events.

For over eight years she was the Head of International Relations for the Financial Reporting Council, the UK’s financial regulator and standard-setter in the areas of corporate governance, audit, accounting/financial reporting, stewardship and actuarial policy. In this role she was in charge of developing the FRC’s international/EU strategy and influencing legislative, policy and regulatory developments in the EU, US and the wider international community. She was also head of the FRC’s representative office in Brussels.

Cecilia was a representative of the FRC/UK in specific EU Council meetings (together with the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy), in the EU Committee of European Audit Oversight Bodies (CEAOB) and in the International Forum for Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR). In 2016-2018 she was also the project manager for the FRC’s joint Brexit project with the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial strategy; in this role she worked closely with the Department for Exiting the EU (DexEU), the Treasury, the FCA, the PRI and other UK regulators, government departments and stakeholders in the framework of UK’s exit from the EU.

She has been a senior policy adviser for ACCA in London, the head of a trade association in Brussels and a senior consultant for Brussels-based, EU public affairs consultancies.

Cecilia holds a Masters degree in European Studies from KU Leuven (Belgium) and a Bachelors degree in International Relations & European Studies from the University of Westminster (UK). She is a member of the UK’s Investor Relations Society and a board member of a London-based fintech startup. She is fluent in English and Swedish and has a working knowledge of French, Norwegian and Danish.

Daniel is an international communication and project management specialist with experience advocating for environmental technologies, and working in sustainable industrial development and European affairs. His professional path has led him to work for and with the European Commission, United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the private sector among others.

With a sound technical knowledge in environmental technologies and data analysis and a strong passion for industrial development, Daniel reinforces EU Focus Group’ outreach in connection to pesticides, fertilisers, biocides, energy and ICT, primarily in the German-speaking market and in connection to the EU institutions in Brussels.

Daniel holds a Master of Science degree in environmental technologies and international affairs from the Technical University of Vienna and Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. In addition, he has a Magister (equivalent to a Master) in international (trade) history. He is fluent in English and German, and possesses an advanced knowledge of Italian. In addition, he speaks some French and is currently studying Dutch.

Ingemar has 16 years of experience in advising senior government officials and business executives on political, regulatory and communications issues. He has worked with industry leaders in a wide number of sectors including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, energy, automotive and consumer brands. He has extensive experience in political and stakeholder dialogues on sustainability, circular economy, environmental and consumer protection. In addition, he served as advocacy leader for complex international high impact investments, ipo’s, mergers & acquisitions.

Ingemar serves as Managing Director of PlasticsEurope Germany and Director for Central Europe of PlasticsEurope. He served Bayer AG for 12 years in several executive roles including chief of staff and leading functions encompassing International Advocacy, Strategy & Executive Communications, Public Affairs & Sustainability.

Ingemar holds a dual master’s degree in political sciences and international affairs from FAU (Erlangen, Germany), a global business diploma and extensive business and strategy education at Said Business School at Oxford University and at LSE. He speaks English, German, Spanish and French.

Monica Annibaldis has close to 30 years of experience in advocacy in Italy. She first supported the diplomatic advisor of the Prime Minister, at Palazzo Chigi, on international economic affairs about 10 years ago as well as being an advisor to the Minister of Economic Development, developing business opportunities in the Balkans for the Italian government.

Further to these political functions, Monica decided to move to business and obviously joined Confindustria and supported the association in its important industrial projects in the Med Region, Africa, and Balkan countries. She also enjoyed various functions: advisor of the President Confindustria, such as in Federlegno Deputy Managing Director of Assoarredo Urbano, Board Member of Edilegno, as well as part of the Industrial Policy Commission; Board member business council ANFIA ( automotive association Confindustria). Monica supported various associations and federations she specialised in various sectors such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, automotive & infrastructure including highways and railways.

She drafted many commercial agreements between Italy and the Balkans as an advisor to many companies including supply chain Fiat, Leonardo Spa, and Ansaldo STS. Monica is also principal expert at the European House Ambrosetti within the business unit – Intelligence for business competition.

Finally, Monica is an advisor of LUISS University for Entrepreneurial Training, Business Opportunities, Cooperation, and Institutional Relations in the Balkans, African & Mediterranean areas.

Monica has graduated in Economy & is fluent in Italian, Serbo-Croatian, French, and English.

Adrian is a lawyer with experience in multilevel decision-making in Europe and expertise in institutional and administrative procedures.

Adrian has worked across different levels of public administration from local government to the European Parliament, as well as offering regulatory advice to financial institutions in the Spanish private sector. Committed to building synergies between public policy and academia, he combines his professional experience with teaching at different universities across Europe and the United States.

With a strong background in European Law, Adrian brings his political and legal knowledge to the EU Focus team with an emphasis on Spain and Italy in connection to the EU institutions in Brussels. Adrian specialises in building political compromises and is passionate about finding innovative legal solutions to technical and scientific challenges.

Adrian holds renowned honours such as the Fulbright scholarship or the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst grant. He has a law degree from the University of Avila and received several Master’s degrees, including an MA in Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe (Bruges) and an LLM in Comparative, European and International Laws from the European University Institute (Florence), where he is currently pursuing his PhD in Law.

A native Spanish speaker, Adrian is fluent in English, Italian, French and German.

Pim has a long-standing experience of the European Union and the Dutch political environment. Pim is currently a member of the Dutch Senate, Vice-President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. He is a leading political figure of the Dutch liberal party, frequently in government coalitions. Pim is Director and Governor of the EBRD. He was also member of the Dutch Permanent Representation, in Brussels.

Pim was key figure of the European Commission being the Head of Cabinet of Internal Market European Commissioner F. Bolkestein. He also represented the Netherlands as Vice-President of the European Investment Bank.

Pim is fluent in Dutch, English & French.

In 2021 started to work as an Adjunct Professor at LUISS Business School (owned by Confindustria), and since July 2020, within LUISS BS Open Consulting division, leads the team for internationalization and project finance processes. In academic terms, has provided support to different courses such as the prestigious LUISS BS “Family Business” course and, helped by his strong engineering background, has become a researcher in the fields of energy and international business, publishing 2 research and concluding a study on Italy’s decarbonization process for Terna (awaiting publication). Extensive work on international network development led his teams to start B2B relationships with top world players in project development services for energy, infrastructure, oil & gas, and mining sectors. Emiliano will support the chemicals/REACH, pesticides, biocides and, sustainability (incl. food) & energy teams.

Emiliano graduated in Engineering from La Sapienza University, Roma and holds an MBA from Liverpool and a PHD from Temple University, Philadelphia. Italian and Portuguese as mother tongues and fluent in English & Spanish.

With more than 20 years of business experience, Miguel Marín is an economist, founder and CEO of ANÁLISIS ECONÓMICO INTEGRAL (AEI), a Madrid-based consultancy company specializing in advanced institutional, public affairs and advocacy strategies. At AEI, Miguel helps clients in both the public and the private sectors to sharpen their competitive edge. He is also lecturer in Economic Theory at the CEU-San Pablo University in Madrid.

Before founding AEI, he was advisor in the Economic department of the Spanish Prime Minister’s cabinet (2001-2004) and chief advisor to the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Spanish Congress (2005-2008); founder and senior consultant at ENEAS Sector Público (2008-2012), which is a consultancy firm offering economic and advisory support to public administrations in Spain; and responsible for the Economy and Public Policy area at the FAES Foundation, a leading Spanish think tank presided by former Spanish Prime Minister José María Aznar (2012-2016).

At European level, he has been chief of cabinet to the Secretary-General of the European People’s Party and advisor to the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (1999-2001). He has published a wide number of articles and papers for both national and international media and think tanks and is a regular contributor to different radio programs. He has also been member of the editorial board of national journals specializing in economics such as El Economista.

Eric is an experienced French decision-maker having served as head of cabinet to the chairman of a Departement (Indre et Loire) but also of a deputy chairman of the French Senate, two senators, mayors of large French cities (Caen and Saint-Etienne) and an advisor to the President of a Region (Centre) in France.

Through his work with parliamentarians and executives, Eric Schell has acquired solid experience of the French public sector. He advised many companies as regards their competitive position in France.

In early 2020, Eric Schell founded in Brussels a Euro-Arab platform, The Global Diwan aimed to foster cultural, academic, and business links between the EU member states and MENA countries, including GCC, Maghreb, Egypt and Turkey, including Asia Pacific and Africa as neighbouring continents.

Eric holds an MBA from HEC Paris and has a Master in Political Sciences and in Law. Eric Schell speaks French, English and German.

With almost 28 years of experience in public relations, corporate relations, public affairs & government relations in Poland, Magdalena began her career in communication soon after the Iron Curtain fell and Western corporations began their expansion in Poland. She was one of the first PR specialists in the country providing services to clients such as Boeing, GE, Amoco and AT&T, helping to build relations with media, local authorities and communities as well as government representatives.

She has vast experience in the sectors of agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, tech, energy and media, among others, having developped an extensive network of contacts in business, media and government in Poland. She has successfully implemented communication strategies for international companies, providing counseling for C-level executives. Magda holds a Master Degree in Economic & Social Geography from the faculty of Geography and Regional Studies as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the Warsaw University.

A Polish native, Magda is fluent in English, with basic knowledge of Spanish and Russian. Magda is a proud Member of the Entrepreneurial Women’s Network in Poland, a teacher of Power Yoga Practice and a loving mother of two boys.

Elena Sánchez is a lawyer and consultant specialized in public affairs and regulation. She has an extensive professional career in different areas related to consulting, mainly in the political field. Since 2009, she has specialized in expert advice on business management, strategic planning and business development, as well as brand management, both for public and private institutions. She was president of the leading opinion polling company SIGMA2, and has been a member of the advisory boards of PWC, MORE THAN RESEARCH and SZENA – a company owned by Antena3 and Telefónica.

Currently, she belongs to the Cyber Defense and Political Intelligence Board of TELEFÓNICA, and to the advisory boards of CELSA GROUP, JOBCHAIN, NEW HORIZON CAPITAL, TDA AND SEELIGER Y CONDE.

Tiago is a seasoned communications consultant with a proven track record in managing reputational risks, crisis response, and government relations. His major area of expertise is protecting the most important, yet fragile, organisational asset: institutional reputation.

Tiago reinforces EU Focus’ outreach with a wealth of connections with media, business intelligence and public affairs experts, skilled litigators, both from his native Portugal and from across the globe.

Throughout his career, he worked as director in “Euronews Portugal” and a journalist and further editor in major Portuguese newspapers (“Semanário”, “O Independente”, “Euronews”, “V”,), as well as a political communications consultant in several mayoral election campaigns. An experienced consultant, he advised a range of clients from the agriculture, tech, food, transport, and banking sectors.

Tiago holds an Graduation in Business from the Universidade Lusíada in Lisbon and a  degree in Law from Universidade Lusíada . He also as a graduation degree in Competitive Intelligence and Happiness Economy is fluent in English and Portuguese, and Spanish.

Dr. Calogeropoulos-Stratis brings strong diplomatic, academic and media expertise to the EU Focus team. A skilful diplomat, he advised Greece’s missions to the EU, UN, NATO, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Turkey and Luxembourg on media relations and policy issues.

Outside EU Focus Group, he works as an editor of the Greek edition of Neweurope – a pan-European media outlet, and acted as a special adviser to the EU Commissioner for Migration and Home Affairs.

Dr. Calogeropoulos-Stratis has a strong academic background, having authored studies and articles on international law, human rights and European policies. His diplomatic and academic achievements are recognised by the national orders of France, Belgium and Israel. Earlier in his career, he held various high-level government positions dealing with health, security, social and European affairs.

He holds a PhD in political sciences and International Law from the University of Geneva, as well as a Master’s degree in international relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva. A native Greek speaker, he is fluent in English and French.

Martijn, a EUROTOX registered toxicologist, has more than 20 years of experience in some key industrial sectors such as biocides, cosmetics, detergents & specialty chemicals. He is specialized in developing and implementing chemical management strategies, technical advocacy management, safety risk assessment, occupational toxicology, regulatory product compliance, product safety, sustainability & innovation support.

Martijn has performed several regulatory leadership roles in various companies including Unilever, Troy Chemical Company, and Arxada.

Martijn graduated from Utrecht University in Administration & Business Economics and from Radboud University where he obtained a Master’s in Chemical Toxicology. He successfully completed the Postgraduate Education in Toxicology program and has renewed his registration as EUROTOX Toxicologist already multiple times.

Mehmet reinforces EU Focus Group’ reach in Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East with his 35-year strong professional experience in energy, finance, investment and communications.

Throughout his career, Mehmet held numerous high-level positions in the government, international organisations, business and public diplomacy sectors. He led engagement programmes for the OECD and the International Energy Agency (IEA) with a specific focus on Asia (China, India, Central Asia). In addition to this, he advised several governments and sat on the boards of top energy and FTSE 100 companies.

Thanks to his extensive professional experience, Mehmet is a regular contributor to newspapers and TV channels from the UK, US, France, Turkey, Russia and Israel. He also teaches at the Harvard University, London School of Economics, the Universities of Dundee and Reading. He chairs The London Energy Club and the Bosphorus Energy Club.

Mehmet holds two Master’s degrees from the College of Europe and the London School of Economics, and is a graduate from the political science faculty of the Ankara University. He is fluent in Turkish, English and French and speaks conversational Mandarin.

Daniel enriches EU Focus Group’ expertise with the deep knowledge of the Greater Middle East and the North Africa regions.

A self-starter and successful entrepreneur, Daniel founded and led a range of businesses in the technology, energy and petro-chemical industries.

In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit, Daniel also served as a public official and advised the Romanian President and Parliament on strategic affairs. Prior to this, Daniel did a stint as a foreign relations journalist. His professional achievements are recognised by the national orders of Belgium and Romania.

Daniel comes from an engineering background and holds an MBA from the IEDC-Bled School of Management in Slovenia, as well as a NATO leadership programme diploma. A native Romanian speaker, Daniel is fluent in English and basic in French.

Igor is an internationally recognized executive with over 25 years of experience in the implementation and financing of major project developments in the energy and agriculture sectors.

Igor is supporting the implementation of EU policies on National Level. He serves as a Board Advisor to international corporations where he is providing strategies for M&A, and market entry and successfully connects local governments and foreign enterprises.

He is Member of the Globsec Task force, a leading European independent think-tank with global outreach, formed to influence policy decisions in the matters of Security, Defense, European Affairs, Energy, Economy, and Strategic Communication. Expert in Circular Economy and Energy Solutions.

Igor earned a Master’s degree in Engineering and Technical Sciences from the Slovak University of Technology, as well as, completed Harvard’s business & management executive program. He is fluent in English, German, Russian, Czech, Slovak, and Italian.

From the beginning of her professional career, Petra worked in an international/EU-related environment, where she used the acquired abilities and skills from numerous study stays as well as professional internships. Her professional career consists of national and international/EU-oriented work experience and she strongly believes that a vertical, horizontal and functional rotation can greatly enrich one’s knowledge and experience.

She studied international relations and European studies at the Comenius University in Bratislava, Economy in Coimbra Portugal, and EU studies in Brussels Belgium. Petra completed her post gradual studies at the faculty of law at Comenius University in Bratislava.

Her professional international background was also gained by numerous internships in EU institutions such as European Parliament, working directly for MEP, then the international relations office of a Belgian university and the Ministry of education and science in Slovakia while there she was preparing for the Slovak presidency of the Council of the EU. She also holds the PRINCE certificate for effective project management.

Petra is fluent in Slovak, Czech, and English, and has an active knowledge of Portuguese and basic knowledge of German.

Peter has over 30 years’ experience in scientific R&D in the Agri food and feed sector with 20+ years leading regulatory compliance, QA, IP at a Director/VP and board level for large multinational and SME’s.

His technical knowledge and application process skills have delivered multiple new products into worldwide markets, transcending regulatory hurdles through skilful understanding of the approval processes and government relations environments.

He continues to be known and accepted as  an Expert Scientific Advisor for the UK Government DEFRA and a Senior Advisor to Primordial Genetics providing modern, innovative and up to date solutions.

Peter holds a PhD from the University of London, having studied at Cornell, Reading, Guelph and Bath Universities prior to joining Dow Chemical/DowElanco and embarking on a high level scientific and regulatory compliance career with Danisco, Syngenta, and Anitox.

He is the author of over 30 scientific publications and fluent in English with some French.

With over more than 25 years of experience in top management positions, strategic communication and government relations, Dan is able to advocate for pragmatic policy options and solutions, establishing common ground to promote co-operation, consistency and effectiveness.

As a part of the Top Management team of Rompetrol Petromidia, the biggest refinery and petrochemical plant in Romania, he was responsible for elaborating and implementing the restructuring strategy of both the refinery and the petrochemical plant. The professional cooperation with the Romanian Black Sea Title Holders Association, including ExxonMobil, OMV Petrom, LukOil, is another important millstone for Dan.

Dan is part of the EU Focus Group Energy and Chemical expertise team.

He earned a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Bucharest, an eMBA from AsseBuss in cooperation with Keneshaw State University from the US and a diploma in Broadcasting Business from International Academy of Broadcasting Switzerland.

Given Mariana’s educational background, her success in various professional projects has always been reached due the merge of high communication skills with broad legal knowledge.

Mariana started her academic life by studying Law in Romania, but she also graduated the International And Advertising Communications Faculty at the University of Perugia, Italy. Given her diverse international background, from the beginning of her career she has been in charge with the communication strategies of different firms and institutes both in Romania and Italy. Due to her social/communication skills she has become a Commercial Partner at the Professional Institute in Italy where she performed also as a trainer in communication related to different professional fields. In the last two years she worked as public affairs consultant in a Romanian consulting company dealing mainly with energy and chemicals.

Mariana is fluent in Romanian, English and Italian. She is also conversant in Japanese.

Peter has over 30 years of experience in government affairs, lobbying, and public affairs and is one of the leading public affairs experts in Austria with professional experience as a journalist, PR consultant, spokesperson, and lobbyist in industrial companies, chambers, associations, and agencies.

Furthermore, he so far published three books on public affairs and has vast teaching experience. He holds a PhD in communication sciences and political sciences from the University of Vienna, graduated from the Graduate School of Political Management in Washington, D.C. with an M.A. in “Corporate Lobbying & Public Affairs” and took part in the executive program “Strategy Beyond Markets” at Stanford Business School.

Lucia has over 12 years of experience in EU diplomacy, having held various positions in Bratislava and abroad including Deputy Head of Mission and Economic counselor. The main areas of focus were agriculture and the defense industry. Lucia was part of several business missions to Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Tanzania & Kenya.

Lucia is a member of the working group for the digital transformation of the Slovak Republic for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic and a member of the technical group for the organization of business missions abroad in connection with the chapter of support for digital transformation/artificial intelligence (AI) Author of the intention to introduce AI under the conditions of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic/own initiative.

She was an active contributor to the EU-LAC Foundation ratification by Bratislava, to strengthen the bi-regional relations between the European Union, Latin America, and the Caribbean and developed the first projects in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paolo.

Lucia always concluded that diplomatic tactics help to drive and shape effective advocacy campaigns whether in Eastern and Central Europe or elsewhere.

Lucia is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Marino was advisor to the Executive Director in charge of Croatia & the Balkans at JP Morgan London before being appointed as advisor to the Vice-President of the European Investment bank, in Luxembourg. He is currently an Ambassador of the Global Think Tank Globsec and Managing Partner of the leading Croatian renewable energy company, SolarisPons.

Marino is also the Honorary Consul of Georgia to Croatia.

He holds a Master in Business & Management from the London School of Commerce and in International Business from the University of Wales. Marino speaks Croatian (his mother tongue), Italian, German & English.

Gerhard started as an international manager and executive director for international brand businesses.

He is the founder and president of the European Brand Institute – Europe´s independent Brand and IP experts – with more than 25 years of experience as a globally recognized independent expert, an international partner network, the UNIDO Partnership and joint program on “Branding for Competitiveness and Sustainable Growth”, the Women Leadership forums and the Brand Global Summits for sustainable brands.

Gerhard is the Chairman of the Austrian Delegation to the ISO Committee for Brand Evaluation, chaired the development of the Austrian Corporate Governance Codex and was Vice President of the Professional Association of Management Consultancy and Information Technology in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In addition, he acts as publicly appointed and sworn expert to Austrian courts, Chairman of the Brand Global Council, Board Member of Austrian Standards and the Austrian Hongkong Society and was acknowledged as “Kommerzialrat” in 2012.

Gerhard holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the Vienna University of Technology, graduated with an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. from the University of Graz. He is fluent in German and English.

Márton has over 15 years worth of expertise in the fields of Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, Public Relations. He has got in-depth regulatory and communications know-how in the fields of energy, banking, fintech, IT, ICT, infosecurity, having worked for the largest national system providers both on client and agency sides.

Being embedded in the transportation and food industries, Márton has built an extensive knowledge base regarding the specifics of both sectors.

As a trusted advisor Márton has worked with some of the largest and most well-known national and international brands on a strategic level.

Márton holds a Masters degree in sociology from Eötvös Lórán University, providing him with a solid background in social sciences, an analytical approach as well as social responsibility. A native Hungarian speaker, he is fluent in English.

Šarūnas is in the business of representing interests since 2006. He was the President of the Lithuanian Youth Council. Šarūnas gained lobbying experience while representing NGO interests nationally and internationally. Šarūnas represents the interests of highly regulated sectors and is trusted by companies in financial, telecommunications and IT, manufacturing, and other sectors. Šarūnas holds a Master’s Degree from the ISM University of Management and Economic, Vilnius.

Kalin has over 35 years’ experience in government, international organisations, including the EU, and the private business combined with strong academic background: B.A. (equivalent) from Moscow State University and M.A. from Sofia Economic University in political economy and M.A. (GMAP) from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Medford, MA, USA.

With ten years in UN-related multilateral diplomacy predominantly in the field of technical cooperation, Kalin developed acute sensitivity to cultural differences and technology intricacies. Additional ten years of leading multilateral European environmental programs and highly sensitive infrastructure projects (clearing the bombed in 1999 bridges in Novi Sad, Serbia and restoring navigation on Danube) further expanded Kalin’s technical expertise and negotiation skills. He was elected as chairman and on other important positions of various high-level UN and EU working groups and committees.

Kalin works since years with A-grade European and global companies providing strategic advice, government relations, risk assessment and reputation management services. In addition, Kalin was elected and serves as Executive Secretary of the Bulgarian Association of Tug Owners since 2010 without interruption and since 2020 is Leader of the Business Development Group of the US Alumni Club in Bulgaria.

Kalin speaks fluently English and Russian.

During his 8 years working in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Márton has gathered experience working with multinational companies, consulting firms as well as small and medium-sized enterprises from all over the CEE region and Europe. He has been mainly focusing on innovation in fast-growing industries like IT, finance, energy, and telecommunications, always with a slight touch of regulatory relations.

While studying at the Applied Economics faculty of Hungary’s most recognised business university, Corvinus University of Budapest, Márton spent the early times of his career in the European Parliament before turning to consultancy. Bringing a straightforward approach to communication, he is building a fruitful relationship between clients and the Hungarian regulatory bodies.

Edwin debuted his career at Procter & Gamble in Belgium in the early 90’s, with a strong focus for FMCG‘s marketing and distribution activities.

Edwin moved with his family to Morocco / Casablanca in 2001 to revamp the local branch of Beiersdorf (NIVEA) as General Manager with an extended scope of responsibilities. After this successful first experience in a North African country, he decided to settle down in this country for 2 decades where he developed several successful initiatives in advertising and media. Edwin is the co-founder and CEO of Greenberry, the multi-channel digital media company offering innovative solutions for brands and agencies since 2010, acquired by the Pikasso Group / Beyrouth in 2019 and introduced breakthrough chemical processes in Morocco, like the launch of biodegradable plastics in partnership with Symphony Environmental Plc, a technology that has been endorsed by local regulations in 2010.

Edwin is the President of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Morocco since 2017.

As independent consultant on EU / Africa affairs, Edwin established strong relations with local business organizations, consulting firms and finance, telecom, energy leading companies in North and West Africa.

Edwin holds a degree in Marketing from the EPHEC business school in Brussels. A native French speaker, he is fluent in English and has an active knowledge of Dutch.
