Tiago is a seasoned communications consultant with a proven track record in managing reputational risks, crisis response, and government relations. His major area of expertise is protecting the most important, yet fragile, organisational asset: institutional reputation.

Tiago reinforces EU Focus’ outreach with a wealth of connections with media, business intelligence and public affairs experts, skilled litigators, both from his native Portugal and from across the globe.

Throughout his career, he worked as director in “Euronews Portugal” and a journalist and further editor in major Portuguese newspapers (“Semanário”, “O Independente”, “Euronews”, “V”,), as well as a political communications consultant in several mayoral election campaigns. An experienced consultant, he advised a range of clients from the agriculture, tech, food, transport, and banking sectors.

Tiago holds an Graduation in Business from the Universidade Lusíada in Lisbon and a  degree in Law from Universidade Lusíada . He also as a graduation degree in Competitive Intelligence and Happiness Economy is fluent in English and Portuguese, and Spanish.
