Răzvan has long experience in assisting private and public organisations to operate effectively. He was the Partner responsible for the energy, oil and chemicals industries at Deloitte Central Europe for almost seven years. In 2014, he was the Romanian Minister responsible for Energy and between 2015 and 2016 he served as Chairman of the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER). Since 2021, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of OMV Petrom and between 2021 and 2025 he held a mandate from the European Commission as a member of the Governing Board of the European Institute for Innovation and Technology.

Răzvan has an educational background in electrical engineering and an Executive MBA in Finance from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He also graduated from several corporate governance executive courses at Harvard Business School.
